Pop-up Sustainability Market: Community members can casually visit booths showcasing technology and local green enterprises from farmers to food trucks, artists, and energy industry professionals.
1 - 3:30pm
Green Jobs Expo: Hosting BIPOC representatives from solar energy, green construction, and rainwater harvesting industries, available to chat with community members about green business and the lived experience of these industries.
3 - 5pm
Mini Jobs Fair: Visit Contract Design & Development, LLC and others for information and conversations about green jobs in your area.
Solar O&M Demonstration: We will also have Omnidian present at our Solar Micro-Grid to showcase solar operations and maintenance in the field.
4:30 - 6pm
Solar Powered Music & Dance: Join Marietta at the Main Stage for a family friendly Kizomba dance class followed by a dance party to show off your new moves!

In Burien, there are limited opportunities for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) individuals and BIPOC-owned businesses to interact, network, and enjoy the culture together. The Burien Solar Punk Festival was born to address that.
